We moved back to Lafayette Square to a new office space on January 2, 2009.

Wayne signed a 5 year lease for a brand new rehabbed and larger office space has been built out to our needs and will take up the entire first floor of the 3 story building. The new space is incredible and is a creative space that is needed for the design studio.

The new office is located at: 1808 Chouteau Avenue - located in Historic Lafayette Square. The building was built in 1893 by Architect Adolph Wagner for Benjamin Selkirk - read more.

Click here to see the building before it was rehabbed by St Louis Lofts - 2006.

Above is a photo gallery of the new office space. Click on any image to see it larger.

office studio 2108 - 3801 wyomingStudio 2108 was located in a 1500 sq. ft. space in the Tower Grove South neighborhood.

In September 2007 we started the process of designing a new office space in a building that would be rehabbed at 1826 Chouteau Avenue that give us more space. That option did not end up happening and we had to scramble to find a temporary office.

So we found a space that is located about a mile or so south of the 39th Street office, just 5 blocks south of Tower Grove Park - 1 block west of Grand Blvd.

Studio 2108 moves to an actual office space after 8 years of working out of a home office to the 39th Street office. This office worked out great for meeting with clients. Wayne soon realized it was too small for the growing and expanding business that comes with getting an actual office space.

Friends and clients of mine told Wayne that - "Once you move out of the house and get an office space, people will take you seriously." They were right as new business has come my way with this move.

2108 LafayetteIn 1999, Wayne expanded his Freelance graphic design business and started a graphic design, web design and web hosting company by the name of Studio 2108 while working out of his house located at 2108 Lafayette Ave. After being in business as Studio 2108 since 1999 and achieving such high search engine rankings with the domain name studio2108.com he figures he better keep it even after the moving the office out of the house.

2108 LafayetteWhere did the numbers 2108 in the company name come from?

In October 1998, Wayne M. White and his wife Julie Padberg-White purchased a 6000 sq. ft. historic Second Empire home located in Historic Lafayette Square at 2108 Lafayette Ave that needed to be renovated. With Julie's Architecture degree - Wayne and Julie started to rehab the house and continue to work on it.

Since then Wayne and Julie have been featured in the following: in a "My Dreams video - mydream.tv - sponsored by Lincoln and Amazon.com - 11/06 - as shown below as it has been posted on YouTube .

As seen in "The American Townhouse" book Kevin D. Murphy - 12/2006, Restore America - HGTV - 2002 all because of the house website that Wayne created to show friends and family the progress of the rehab and to document the condition of the house when it was purchased.
