March 2007 - Printing Quantities

Ordering more the first time - I highly recommend to all my clients to order more than what you need. It usually will only cost a few dollars more the order more the first time.

Here's an example:
Printing of 28 pages catalog - 1st run of 6000 cost around $9000. If you need an additional 1000 - it might have cost $500 or so to print that many extra the first time. If you print 1000 afterwards as a reprint - it will cost around $3500.

Adding Alt Tags - Adding key words and titles in your alt tags of your images will help as well.

Updating your content daily, weekly or monthly - Adding or changing your content as often as possible is the key to getting the search spiders to keep coming back to your web site looking for more new stuff and making it think your site is important. The more changes to a web site the more important the spiders think it is.

Examples: Adding a News Release, newsletter or industry tips that you find useful. Even re-writing your content will help.

Meta Tag - having the meta tag a little different on each page helps also. Making it list specific keywords that relate to the page itself.

Including keywords in the description/copy of your web site on every page. - Another way to get better results is to try to work in your keywords as many as times as possible into your body copy on every page without making it read like a Dr. Seuss Book.

Site Map - Having a site map helps. This is just an outline and link to every page on your site.

Adding links to other web sites - Adding links to other sites and getting sites to link to your site is very important as well.
